What sparked your interest in 3D printing?

I had always enjoyed woodworking and creating, but 3D printing felt out of reach, like something that required complex software and technical skills. Winners are chosen based on the authenticity and impact of their story, and the quality of their visual presentation (photos/videos). We are looking for genuine stories that resonate, are well-presented, and inspire other makers.

3. Can I view other submissions?

Yes! Browse all submissions in our gallery or search #WhyIPrint on social media.

4. Is there a limit to submissions?

No, you can share as many stories as you'd like and we encourage you to post content on different platforms. Each submission must be unique.

5. What content can I submit?

(1) Photos or videos of you and your 3D printed creations; (2) Your personal story (text or video); (3) Behind-the-scenes of your printing process (optional).

6. Do I need to be a professional?

Not at all! We welcome stories from makers of all skill levels.

7. Can I submit in my local language?

Yes! We accept submissions in all languages. Our global partners will help with translation.

8. Will my story be shared publicly?

By participating, you agree to allow us to share your story across our platforms and marketing materials, with proper credit given.

9. Can I collaborate with others?

Yes! Just make sure to credit all contributors in your submission.

10. What is the recommended length for the video?

We recommend keeping the video length between 1 to 3 minutes for the best viewer engagement.
