How to Optimize Your Printing

Based on the properties of PPS-CF, it’s strongly recommended to consider the following tips to realize best performance:

1. Dry Your Filament

Drying Temperature:
In a blast drying oven: 100°C to 140°C for 8 to 12 hours.
On an X1 printer's heatbed: 110°C to 120°C for 10 to 12 hours (less effective than a blast drying oven).

2. Hardened Steel Nozzle

Hardened steel nozzle is mandatory when printing PPS-CF.

3. Seal with desiccant to prevent moisture and achieve ideal printing results.

4. Other Settings:

Build Plate & Bed Temperature: Smooth PEI Plate (100 - 120 °C); Textured PEI Plate (100 - 120 °C)
Printing Speed: < 100 mm/s
Nozzle Temperature: 310 - 340 ℃
Part Cooling Fan:  0 - 40%
Annealing: 180 - 220 ℃ 6 - 12 hours
